Legal
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the use of FinTech Weekly (the "Magazine") and any advertising, sponsored content or partnership booked with us. By using the site or booking a placement you agree to them. They are deliberately short and plain.
1. Using the site
FinTech Weekly is an independent publication covering fintech, finance and banking. Content is provided for general information and does not constitute financial, legal or investment advice. You may read and share our content for personal, non-commercial use; our name, logo and original editorial remain our property.
2. Editorial independence
Our reporting is independent. Commercial relationships never influence editorial decisions. Paid placements are kept visibly separate from independent coverage.
3. Advertising and sponsored content
All commercial placements — banners, sponsored articles, sponsored links, partner stories and newsletter placements — are clearly labelled as "Sponsored", "Partner" or "Advertisement" and, where applicable, marked up as such in structured data. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the material they supply and must hold the rights to all creative, logos and links provided.
We share real, verifiable reach and engagement figures but do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes (clicks, leads, sales or rankings).
4. Content we do not publish
To protect our readers and our brand, we do not accept advertising, sponsored content or links for:
- Gambling, casinos, betting or other games of chance
- Adult or pornographic content
- CBD, cannabis, recreational drugs, tobacco or vaping
- Weapons, or any illegal products or services
- Misleading, deceptive or "get rich quick" financial schemes
We may decline or remove any placement that conflicts with this policy or with our editorial standards, at our discretion.
5. Payment, prices and invoicing
Bookable placements are paid online via our payment provider (Stripe). Prices are shown net and are indicative; the applicable VAT is added at checkout based on your billing details and tax status (EU reverse charge applies to valid EU business VAT IDs). An invoice is issued for every paid booking.
6. Cancellation and refunds
A placement can be cancelled before production or scheduling begins; contact [email protected]. Once a placement has gone live it is generally non-refundable. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
7. Liability
The site and our services are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always applies to new bookings and continued use of the site.
