Frank Murphy, Monex’ Founder, Owner and C.E.O., invented Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) in the mid 1990’s. The DCC service was first implemented with the in Ireland in 1996 with Hertz Rent-a-Car Franchise becoming the first international customer for Monex in 1998. Monex is not tied through ownership or investment to any bank in any country, we are free to provide unbiased bespoke business solutions including currency conversion and processing services. We make quick quick, effective strategic decisions which allow us to capitalise on new global opportunities as they present. We are the largest global provider of DCC solutions and integrated systems solutions tailored to local requirements while supported by a global network. Monex serves a wide variety of geographic areas with a live DCC profile in 48 countries. Market sectors include: retail, financial services, eCommerce, tourism and hospitality.
