The Athens Stock Exchange today welcomed Qualco Group's leadership team, executives, and partners on the occasion of the company’s listing on the Main Market. Mr. Orestis Tsakalotos, Chairman and Executive Board Member, and Mr. Miltiadis Georgantzis, Chief Executive Officer, officially opened today's trading session.
“Qualco is the third new listing on the Athens Stock Exchange in 2025 and the latest addition to the highly dynamic Technology sector. Between 2021 and 2025, this sector recorded the second-highest performance among all listed industries on the market, with returns exceeding 250%. For over 25 years, Qualco has been a pioneer in financial technology. Having started as a software and IT services provider in the Greek market, it has since evolved into a multi-faceted organisation. Qualco’s public offering was nearly five times oversubscribed, and the offer price was set at the upper end of the announced range. Today’s debut on the Athens Stock Exchange marks a very strong start, and we wish the company ongoing success in the next stage of its journey,” stated Mr. Giannos Kontopoulos, CEO of the Athens Exchange Group.
Mr. Orestis Tsakalotos, Chairman and Executive Board Member of Qualco Group, commented:
“I am incredibly proud that our company is listed today on the Athens Stock Exchange. This milestone reflects more than 25 years of hard work, strategic decisions, and belief in our vision. Our listing marks the beginning of a new chapter, driven by responsibility, transparency, and a commitment to continuously creating value for our clients, people, and shareholders.”
Mr. Miltos Georgantzis, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member of Qualco Group, added:
“This listing represents a strong vote of confidence in our organisation's resilience, expertise, and strategic consistency. Looking ahead, we remain committed to investing in talent, research, and development and seizing opportunities in Greece and abroad. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our employees and partners who worked tirelessly to make this demanding and historic achievement a reality.”
Lastly, Ms. Natasa Stamou, Vice President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, congratulated Qualco on the successful public offering and listing, noting that this once again reflects investors’ confidence in the Greek capital market: “The funds raised will support the organisation’s strategic growth throughout its listed journey and will contribute more broadly to accelerating the digital transformation of the financial sector. At the Capital Market Commission, we treat every public offering as unique, and we have consistently met the challenges quickly and effectively. We will continue to do so, within the framework of our proactive supervision, to support the growth of the Greek market further.”
